New plan for “green” Business School in South Africa

mandela

A specialist campus will replace Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University’s (NMMU) Business School in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, within the next three years.

School director Prof Piet Naude told that the new campus would be a pioneering project and also provide several advantages for students. The pioneering aspect was that the new campus would be “green”, from its initial construction to all aspects of its operation.

It would be close to a hotel school, also being established by NMMU. Part of that project would entail providing accommodation. This would be ideal for the increasing number of people from other parts of South Africa and Africa attend courses at the Business School, as well as international guests.

The NMMU Business School is rated sixth in the country after the five major schools and amongst the top three in some categories.
